Memory preservation — Miami

The box in the closet is the family archive. Let's treat it that way.

I digitize photos, slides, DVDs, and VHS tapes by hand, here in Miami. The files go to the cloud, organized and shareable. The originals come home with you.

Handled personally — never shipped off, never outsourced

01 — What I Take

If it holds a memory, I can probably digitize it.

It arrives as a box. It comes back as the same box, plus a cloud folder the whole family can open — sorted, labeled, and backed up.

    Photographs

Loose prints, framed pictures, whole albums. Scanned carefully, one at a time, and returned exactly as they came — down to the order in the album.

    Home video

The tapes still play — for now. Tape degrades a little every year, whether or not anyone watches it. Sooner genuinely is better.

    The delivery

Everything lands in a cloud folder organized by year and event, ready to share with your kids, your siblings, your parents. I'll show you how it works.

    • Organized cloud folders
    • Backup copy on a drive
    • A walkthrough, in person

02 — The Promises

These aren't policies. They're promises.

  • Your originals come back. Every print, every tape, every slide — returned to you, in the condition they arrived.
  • Nothing is deleted. Ever. Not the blurry ones, not the duplicates, not the embarrassing haircuts. You decide what stays; I just make copies.
  • It never leaves my hands. No shipping your memories to a warehouse across the country. The work happens here in Miami, by the person you handed the box to.

03 — How It Works

Three steps, and the box comes home.

  1. Hand me the box

We meet, I take inventory with you, and you keep a copy of the list. You always know exactly what I have.

  2. I do the careful part

Scanning, capturing, and organizing by year and event. Slow work, done properly, one memory at a time.

  3. Everything comes back

The originals, a backup drive, and a cloud folder your whole family can open. I'll sit with you until sharing it feels easy.

04 — Start

Fifty years of photographs deserve more than a closet shelf.

Call and tell me what's in the box. I'll tell you honestly how long it will take and what it will involve — before you commit to anything.
